Sessions and learning approach

How do sessions work?

We align to current school topics, then build skills step-by-step with clear explanations, guided practice, and targeted homework. Sessions can be one-on-one or small groups (2–6).

Which year levels and subjects do you support?

Maths: Years 6–12. Physics: Years 7–12. Engineering: Years 11–12.

Do you follow the Australian Curriculum and QCAA?

Yes. We align to your school topics and assessment requirements, including QCAA senior content where relevant.

How often should students have tutoring?

Most students do weekly sessions. During exams, we can increase frequency temporarily to focus on revision and past-paper practice.

Do you provide practice questions and homework?

Yes. You’ll get targeted practice and clear next steps so progress continues between sessions.

Can you help with assignments and exam preparation?

Yes. We help students understand concepts, plan their study approach, and practise exam-style questions. We do not complete assessed work for students.

Pricing and packages

Do you offer group tutoring?

Yes. Small groups (2–6) are more affordable per student and work well when students are in the same year level/topic.

What are your prices and packages?

Pricing depends on tutor level and whether sessions are one-on-one or group. See the Pricing page for current rates and bundles.

Can we start with one session first?

Yes. Many families start with a single session, then move to weekly sessions once the learning plan is clear.

Online and in-person tutoring

Do you tutor online, in person, or both?

Both. We tutor online across Australia and in person in Brisbane (based in Annerley).

What do we need for online tutoring?

A laptop/computer, stable internet, and a quiet space. We’ll guide you on the tools we use during the consultation.

Where do in-person sessions happen?

In-person sessions are available in Brisbane. Exact arrangements depend on the tutor and student location.

Policies

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

You can reschedule with notice. If you need to cancel, please let us know as early as possible so the time can be offered to another student.

Do you offer refunds?

If you have a concern about a session, contact us and we’ll work with you to resolve it fairly.

Progress and results

How quickly will results improve?

Many students feel more confident within 2–4 sessions. Marks improve as foundations strengthen and students practise consistently.

How do you track progress?

We track topic coverage, confidence, and accuracy on practice questions. We can also use school feedback and assessment results to guide priorities.

What should students bring to sessions?

Bring recent classwork, homework, assessment details, and a calculator if required. For online sessions, a stable internet connection and a quiet space helps.
